So you want to know more about me?

I have written stories for as long as I could write. Not that many of them were more than scribbles, but the desire to write fictional stories was always present.

We sadly live in a world with unending pain and suffering. Each morning it is not a matter of IF there will be a new devastating report, but simply a matter of WHERE did it happen? While the passion might have started with the fun of being able to create an artificial world, it further inspired my love of reading and writing because the suffering ended at some point. For a few hours, I could escape from reality, enraptured by the journey the main character takes to successfully overcome the cause of the hurt and the pain. For a few hours, I can believe that a single person has true power to initiate grand changes in the world.

While there are people who can change our world for the better here, our news cycles are so focused on the next negative story which will cause the most outrage. They miss the beauty in the world. My wish is for one hour of our 24-hour news cycle, when the most people are awake, that they would only discuss stories which positively impact our world and our future. To provide a daily dose of hope to the world. I think many of us need that hope.
